At Natural Bridge Caverns, we celebrate Christmas unlike anywhere else in the world! Nestled in the scenic Texas Hill Country, we kick our holiday festivities up a notch. Hear your favorite carols echo through Texas’ largest underground cavern. Get pictures with Santa “Spelunker” Claus, then round up his reindeer in our outdoor maze. Then as the sun sets, take a hayride through the hills and roast s’mores with your family while enjoying games, music and food around our 30 foot tall Christmas Tree. Available select weekends in December.
Nothing says holiday fun like a model train chugging around beneath the Christmas tree. Catch these trains on display during Christmas at the Caverns for the next four weekends:
December 1, 2, 8 and 9 – the Texas LEGO® User Group (TxLUG) will present their fascinating exhibit made entirely out of the popular LEGO building blocks, with a model train running throughout a holiday themed village, complete with buildings and Christmas scenery. Be sure to block off some time to see this amazingly festive display.
December 15, 16, 22, and 23 – the San Antonio Railroad Heritage Museum will present their N-scale model circus train layout, including a national prize-winning big top, with lions, tigers, creative canines, and over 200 miniature spectators. An amazingly wild sight!
(Model trains will run 10:30 am – 8 pm on Saturdays, and 9 am – 7 pm on Sundays.)
There is no charge to view the displays. Visit NaturalBridgeCaverns.com/Christmas today for more information, or to order tickets for our other Christmas events.
During this season of giving, “Christmas at the Caverns” continues its support of the San Antonio Food Bank, which serves residents of San Antonio and New Braunfels. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Food Bank, and during December each guest who brings a nonperishable food item to donate to the Food Bank will receive $2 off an adult or $1 off a child Cavern tour ticket, redeemable for any Cavern tour.
