San Antonio, TX – September 2, 2025 — This September, Natural Bridge Caverns offers visitors three unforgettable ways to experience the wonders of Texas, through live music, endurance racing, and mindful movement, all set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the largest commercial caverns in the state.

On September 19, the West Texas Exiles take the stage 180 feet underground in the Hidden Wonders Ballroom. With roots stretching from Lubbock to El Paso and influences spanning Buddy Holly to Vampire Weekend, the band’s modern interpretation of Lone Star sound has already captivated audiences at SXSW and Americana Fest. Their performance at Natural Bridge Caverns promises an atmosphere unlike any other.

On September 20, adventure moves from underground to the surface with the Great Springs Trail Race. Beginning inside the caverns and winding into the Hill Country, the race offers breathtaking scenery and a test of endurance. The “Last Person Standing” format challenges runners to complete loop after loop every hour on the hour until only one remains—a competition fueled by cheers, cowbells, and camaraderie.

On September 27, stillness takes center stage with Yoga Underground. Participants will experience a gentle, all-levels yoga flow and sound bath led by Winzer Van Delden in the Hidden Wonders Ballroom. With its natural dome and resonant acoustics, this rare setting transforms yoga into an immersive journey of relaxation and renewal.

These events showcase how the caverns are more than a geological wonder. They’re a place where music, movement, and adventure take on new meaning—whether you’re listening to live music, pushing your limits, or finding calm in an extraordinary setting.
